William Brodsky

  • William J. Brodsky has been in the investment business since 1968 and joined Cedar Street Asset Management LLC in 2016 to serve as its Chairman.
  • From 1997 to 2017, Bill served as Chairman of CBOE Holdings, Inc. and its predecessor firms.  Bill also served as the Chief Executive Officer of the CBOE from 1997 to 2013 overseeing its demutualization leading to an IPO in 2010 and the creation of futures and options on VIX (the CBOE Volatility Index).  During his tenure at the CBOE, Bill was the Chairman of the World Federation of Exchanges and the International Options Market Association. 
  • Bill has served on the board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital and its affiliates for 22 years including 14 years as chairman of its investment committee and Chairman of the Hospital board from 2012 to 2016. He is currently the Chairman of Navy Pier, Inc. and an advisor at Madison Dearborn Partners and serves on the Board of Directors of WEC Energies, an S&P 500 company.
  • Bill began his career at the Wall Street based investment banking and securities brokerage firm of Model, Roland and Co. Inc. where he served in the legal and compliance department.
  • In 1974, he joined the American Stock Exchange as a lawyer in the government relations and policy planning department. Over the next eight years, he served in a variety of roles that included trading floor operations, market surveillance, head of the options division and ultimately, Executive Vice President for Operations.
  • In 1982, he moved to Chicago to become Executive Vice President of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (“CME”). In 1985, he was appointed President and CEO of the CME. While at the CME, Bill played an instrumental role in the development and globalization of stock index futures and the establishment of the Globex trading system.  He left the CME in 1997 to become Chairman & CEO of the CBOE.

Michelle Collins

  • Michelle L. Collins is President of Cambium LLC, a consulting firm, and a member of the Advisory Board of the private equity firm, Svoboda Capital Partners, LLC.  Ms. Collins is a member of the boards of Health Care Service Corporation (Finance Chair, former Audit and Governance Chair, Executive Committee, former Compensation Committee), Ulta Beauty (Governance Chair, Audit Committee), Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (Risk Committee) and its US Subsidiary, CIBC Bank USA (Audit Chair, Risk and Compensation Committees),  Strategic Marketing, Inc (Audit Committee).  She is also a board member or trustee of Erikson Institute (Immediate Past Chair), Chicago Public Library Foundation (a Vice Chair), the Museum of Science and Industry, WTTW, the Civic Consulting Alliance, Navy Pier, Inc., Otho S.A. Sprague Institute (a foundation), a Family Foundation, and Mather LifeWays, a foundation (Audit and CI Committees). She is a member of the Commercial Club of Chicago, the Economic Club of Chicago, Chicago Finance Exchange, The Chicago Network, and is a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute.
  • Ms. Collins was co-founder of Svoboda Capital Partners, LLC and served as Managing Director from 1998 through 2006.  Prior to that, Ms. Collins was a principal in the Corporate Finance Department at William Blair & Company, LLC.  Previously, she was a member of the mutual fund boards of Columbia Acorn and Wanger Advisors Trusts and the following public companies: PrivateBankcorp, Inc., Integrys Energy Group, Inc., Molex, Inc., Bucyrus International, CDW Corporation, Coldwater Creek, Inc. and McWhorter Technologies, Inc.
  • Born in Chicago, Ms. Collins graduated from the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools (1978), Yale University (1982) and Harvard Business School (1986).​

William Farrow 

  • Mr. Farrow brings more than 39 years of senior leadership experience in managing business operations, technology development, enterprise risk and strategy.  He brings extensive professional experience in the banking and financial markets to the board. His first-hand experience in addressing advances in information technology, as well as the experience he has gained as a current board member on the Audit Committee for both CBOE Global Markets and Echo Global Logistics, are particularly valuable.  
  • Mr. Farrow was previously employed as a Chief Executive Officer & Managing Partner by Fc Partners Group, a Chief Information Officer & EVP by Chicago Board of Trade, a Consultant by Arthur Andersen LLP, a Senior Vice President by Bank One Corp., a Director-Business Development & Corporate Strategy by Dart & Kraft, Inc., a Head-Treasury Management Sales by First National Bank of Chicago (Illinois), a President, Chief Executive Officer & Director by Urban Partnership Bank, and a President, Chief Executive Officer, & Director by Urban Partnership Bank.
  • He received his undergraduate degree from Augustana College (Illinois) and a graduate degree from Northwestern University.

Scott Kronick

  • Scott Kronick is one of the two founding members of Ogilvy PR in China and plays an instrumental role in the leadership and management of the China operation. Scott is based in Beijing.
  • In addition to consulting many of the world’s most respected brands on their China communications strategy, Scott counsels Chinese companies in their endeavors to develop global brands. He also works with various Chinese officials and public company executives on their communications skills.  
  • Scott writes frequently on public relations and international business issues for such publications as the South China Morning Post, Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Campaign, Ad Age China, China Business Review, PRWeek, PR Magazine, and China Daily. In 2008 Scott was featured in a book about long-term residents of China entitled “My Thirty Years in China.”
  • In addition to his many accomplishments, Scott has been the recipient of the Individual Achievement SABRE Award in 2012, China International PR Association's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010, and was named "PR Agency Head of the Year" in 2008 at the Asia Pacific PR Awards. Under his leadership, the agency was named "Asia Pacific Consultancy of the Year" by The Holmes Report in 2009, "PR Consultancy of the Year" at the Asia Pacific PR Awards in 2008 and "Network of the Year in Asia Pacific" by PRWeek in 2002.
